Board & Train

We offer a variety of Board & Train options for puppies (9 months and younger). The benefits of our program are:

Peace of mind that your dog is being cared for by someone as if it was their own.
Dogs stay in a home environment which is much less stressful and maintains potty training.
Individual attention for your dog, we only take up to 2 dogs per trainer/home.
Dogs receive consistent potty breaks every 2-3 hours or more throughout the day as opposed to just the 2 or 3 they may get in a kennel environment or having to hold it for 9-12 hours overnight.
Direct access to your trainer for daily photos and videos to stay updated.
Playtime with other dogs and enrichment included.
One hour of training each day.

Must complete an initial in-home appointment before being accepted if we have not previously worked with your dog. Dogs must be comfortable being crated, and must be social with other dogs. The board and train option is not the most effective option for a lot of dogs. We recommend doing in-home private lessons or day training sessions first and then, if we think it will be effective, we may suggest the board and train option.

2 Week Program:

During the 2 week option, we cover Sit, Down, Touch, Place, Leave It, Drop It, Loose Leash Walking, and Polite Greetings.

Covers everything in the 2 week program as well as Stay and Come.

Day Rate:

If you’re a current client who is traveling or just needs a little extra help, we do offer shorter, customized length Board & Trains. During these shorter stays, we focus on one or two specific behaviors with your dog.

Day Training

Do you want the training results, but don’t have the time to do the work to get those results? We can help! Day Training is similar to a board and train but your dog stays in the comfort of your home. You don’t have to worry about how your dog is being treated while being away from you for weeks. We come to your home, work with your dog for one hour, two days each week in addition to a private lesson with you once a week. The lesson is where we transfer the training over to you and teach you how to maintain it. Having a lesson once a week is crucial to the training because long-term, you are the one who we want your dog to listen to and have a relationship with.

During the Day Training sessions, we will either work with your dog at your home for an hour or take your dog for an outing to practice training around distractions. We send pictures and short videos after each session so you can enjoy being a part of the process of seeing your dog learn and have fun!

All of our programs start with the initial 1.5 hour in-home lesson ($185). After the initial appointment, then you can begin a Day Training package.

DAY TRAINING FORM

At the completion of your Day Training Program, if you would like to continue with Day Training sessions spaced out further apart, you can continue with our maintenance program and buy Day Training Sessions in a package. Maintenance Packages must be used within a 6 month timeframe.
